CBT for Children and Young People

Having previously worked as a teacher, our psychotherapist is uniquely placed to understand how issues at school can impact on the mental health of children and young people, and equally, how the mental health issues of children and young people can impact on attendance, social interactions and academic achievement at school.

She uses this knowledge to work 1:1 with children and young people online and also works closely with schools/colleges to provide in-house CBT.

Our dedicated psychotherapist works closely with children, young people, adults, parents/carers, schools and GPs to support the mental health of the individuals she works with, holding an enhanced DBS for working with children and young people as well as adults.

Work with Parents/Carers

Depending on the child/young person, CBT may not always be suitable. In these cases, we are able to work directly with the parents instead to teach the strategies and skills which are needed to support the mental health needs of their child. Please contact us to find out more.

In-House CBT (Schools/Colleges)

We are able to offer in-house CBT for individuals or small groups of children and young people at schools/colleges in the North West of England. Please contact us to find out more.
